Delightful dumplings filled with savory ingredients, baked until crispy and served with a creamy peanut sauce.

Ingredients

  • Dumpling wrappers
  • Ground meat (chicken, pork, or tofu)
  • Cabbage, shredded
  • Carrots, grated
  • Garlic, minced
  • Ginger, grated
  • Soy sauce
  • Vegetable oil
  • Peanut butter
  • Soy sauce (for sauce)
  • Lime juice
  • Chili flakes (optional)
  • Peanuts, crushed (for garnish)
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine your choice of ground meat (or tofu), shredded cabbage, grated carrots, minced garlic, grated ginger, and soy sauce in a bowl.
  3. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
  4. Wet the edges of the wrapper, fold it over and press firmly to seal.
  5. Arrange the sealed dumplings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with vegetable oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, and chili flakes in a bowl for the sauce.
  8. Serve hot with peanut sauce and garnish with crushed peanuts and fresh cilantro.
