Delicious and flaky Ham Cheese Puff Pastries, perfect for an appetizer, snack, or light meal.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 4 oz sliced ham
  • 4 oz cheese (such as Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out your thawed puff pastry until smooth.
  3. Cut the pastry into 4×4 inch squares.
  4. Add a slice of ham and a slice of cheese to the center of each square.
  5. Create pockets by folding over the corners and sealing the edges.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
